APRIL 7, 2018: Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, 6550 Gateway Rd, Commerce City, CO 80022
Meet up no later than 7:30 AM in the outer parking lot of the Broomfield Library where we will carpool to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge Visitor's Center.
Visiting the Refuge is free and this field trip is open to all.
Directions if you are not carpooling: From I-70 exit at Quebec Street and go north. Travel approximately 2.8 miles to Prairie Parkway/64th Avenue. Turn east (right) at Prairie Parkway and travel 0.6 miles to Gateway Road. Turn north (left) at Gateway Road. Continue on Gateway Road until you reach the Refuge entrance. Address is: 6550 Gateway Road Commerce City, CO 80022.

ABOUT OUR FIELD TRIPS: We welcome birdwatchers of all skill levels, including beginners. We also welcome visitors and guests on all our trips with the following exceptions:
- Broomfield Bird Club members who have made an annual family membership donation will be given first opportunity to participate on special, "reservations-only" field trips;
- Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult; and
- Except for service dogs, no pets are allowed on our field trips.
